I brought clothes for the attendees to peruse and later, style.
Last Saturday January 31st, I held my first ever Personal Styling Workshop at the Craft MNL headquarters. I didn’t sleep much the night before in anxious anticipation coupled with excitement. They say when you’re nervous it means you care about the results, want to do well and excel. Exactly how I felt. My goal was for the module to be super helpful, relevant, easy to understand and follow and most importantly, engaging enough to make it fun! To say the least, it was a success–gauging from their curiosity and enthusiasm during the activities. Some even asked for a repeat session for friends who couldn’t make it! Needless to say I was extremely elated and grateful for the experience. Looks like a start of something great. Stay tuned for the next workshop scheduled for summer. In the meantime, read on to see what went down.

Prepping the table of accessories.
I pulled items from Common Thread and Elin.
Started out by introducing ourselves and talked about our personal style. I asked each participant to come in their most fashionable outfit, one that they think best describes their style. It was a trip to see what they wore and why.
Nicole loves the 50s–as evidenced by the leather jacket, white tee and circle skirt combo.
Dianne was more weekend casual.
We then proceeded to wardrobe basics everyone should have.
Talked about skin tone, too.
Afterwards, it was time for them to style different looks using the available items. Each one had to come up with their own.
It was fun to see what each one presented!
Some asked for advice…
Group pic time!
Thedz won the raffle–one shopping session with me!
