I picked out Thedz’ name at a raffle last January 31st during my personal styling workshop to win a shopping spree with me plus a feature in SOS. We finally got to schedule it a few weeks ago and trekked to the mall to take advantage of the remaining sale items, as well as pick an outfit for her to wear to a friend’s wedding on Valentine’s day. Thedz is an IT Operations Analyst whose days revolve around going to work, church and meeting friends on weekends. Apart from the wedding outfit, she wanted a few pieces flexible enough to wear to work and play. Thedz is incredibly petite, which gave me an idea to scope the kids’ section in a store. True enough, a size 14 (that’s pre-teen) fit like a glove! I advised her to make it a habit to check the offerings over at kids for better fit and lower pricing—ah, the perks of being tiny. Thedz dreams of becoming a wedding photographer or coordinator one day, a universe away from her current day job. I told her nothing is impossible or unattainable if you put all your effort and heart on it. For now, she’s having fun getting her wardrobe ready for the “new” her, one kiddie step at a time.
