Six times Emma Stone dressed like a Manila Girl

It’s no secret that my heart beats a little faster every time I see a new photo or hear news about one of my favorite Hollywood darlings. Since I first saw her in Zombieland, I was smitten with Emma. There’s something about her that feels light, easy and friendly like she can be your instant BFF. Emma has none of the airs of an established actress even after several Oscar nods—this year included for the fan and critic favorite, La La Land. She is elusive and steers clear of social media and bad press, always keeping her private life, private. And now more than ever, she is the It Girl to watch. I’ve been following her style evolution for a while and I have to say, she dresses pretty classic—even slightly unremarkable—similar to how most of the girls in Manila dress. I’ve rounded up six of her outfits that I’ve seen in the malls, bars and events through the years that I’m sure you ladies can relate to!

All photos from the World Wide Web

Solid colored top and printed pants with pumps. Creative office-appropriate as well as event-ready.

Button down with skinny jeans and sandals fit right in on a stroll along Rockwell or Greenbelt.

Bright top with black pants and a statement shoe. Once more an event ensemble or even to a dinner date.

Knit top, skinny jeans and flat sandals for lazy Saturdays in Salcedo Market or errands.

A fun jumpsuit and matching shoes sans heavy embellishment that I imagine at a wedding or Christmas dinner with the girls.

White shirt, black jeans and the ubiquitous Adidas. ‘Nuff said.
